  • Typhoid fever
  • Tuberculosis
  • Pyemia
  • Yaws
  • Strangles

  • Long term antibiotic treatment
  • Multiple drug therapy
  • Drain abscesses
  • No vaccine available

f) Diagnosis:

  • Isolation of bacteria, serology, ELISA test

g) Prevention:

  • Quarantine
  • Biosafety
