About Lesson

A proposal has five basic functions:-

1. Programme representation: a proposal is a written statement representing a particular program/activity/project

2. Persuasive request: funding agency is requested for resources

3. Willingness to serve/commitment: a proposal is an applicant’s commitment to the funding agency to do certain thing in a certain way, during specified time, and at a given cost

4. Strategic plan: a proposal also represents a plan

5. A beginning function to the whole reporting: report writing/publication relies on proposal
